SCORE to offer free small business counseling the first Wednesday of each month at Fairport Library FAIRPORT, N.Y. - June 1, 2005- Small business owners and those thinking of starting their own businesses, and who would like expert advice about the managerial and technical aspects of running a successful enterprise can continue to attend free monthly counseling sessions at the Fairport Public Library.

Beginning Wednesday, June 1, SCORE (Counselors to America's Small Business) will offer free one-hour sessions from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at the Fairport Public Library. Bill Brennan, a SCORE counselor, well-known small business owner of Leads Source, Inc. and Fairport resident, will provide the counseling.

The business counseling sessions will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis and held in a private conference room of the library. SCORE is a non-profit organization comprised of 11,500 volunteer members nationwide and sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration. From starting a new business or expanding an existing business, to identifying and solving problems and developing marketing strategies, SCORE has experts in virtually every area of business management and maintains a skills roster to help identify the best counselor for a particular client.
