Fairport Resident Starts Up New Business

Leads Source, Inc., a business growth firm concentrating in lead generation, marketing planning services, database marketing, market analysis and consulting for small businesses today announced its launch in the Greater Monroe County area. Bill Brennan embarks on yet another new venture after operating five separate service and retail businesses, from 1973-2000.

He had a successful career in the corporate world for decades- with ever-increasing responsibility and awards -- but always had a burning desire to strike out on his own independently. Granted, he gained valuable experience and useful knowledge in classic marketing approaches from a firm that consistently was listed in the Top Ten national Marketing Companies by Sales and Marketing Magazine, but he wanted to apply those experiences to a smaller, more personal situation.

Now, he is back as a marketing consultant, drawing on his experience to create marketing and direct response campaigns.

"I've always had the entrepreneurial spirit about me," he said.

Working out of his home office in Fairport allows him to keep his overhead and prices low. "The big guys out there, they have a lot of overhead," Brennan said. That's one of the reasons we're starting small."

Brennan set up his company, 'Leads Source', in July, and has already attracted business sponsorship from an IT client.

Brennan chose the name 'Leads Source' because it identified the outcome he will produce for small business clients. "Marketing is nothing more than a business function and, in fact is looked upon as an expense by many entrepreneurs," said Brennan. "Leads and business growth are tangible benefits that businesses can better relate to. That meets their needs. That is what they want to accomplish, not some marketing expense."

Brennan spends much of his work hours analyzing clients' needs and asking questions about their goals and capabilities -- questions they never think to ask themselves, he said. With the information in hand, he can provide support to add revenue, increase the number of clients in a systematic way, enter new markets and improve bottom lines - all with a proven process and a money back guarantee. "How many other firms guarantee that a small business meets its goals? None that I know of," said Brennan.

If they are successful, I have been successful," he said. "So that's what motivates me to work hard."

Brennan, grew up in New York City and has lived in Fairport for thirty years. He anticipates his business will grow within a year to the point where he needs an office outside his home. "I love this community," he said. "I love working and living here. I definitely want to help clients in the area and do my part to boost the local economy."
